Click the apply button to submit your application and join our team of experts today. <h3>Benefits</h3>Why join Riverside Automotive?•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Competitive salary with guaranteed annual earnings starting at $75,000 to $85,000.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Full-time + Superannuation, permanent position with opportunities for overtime.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Overtime pays and additional benefits included. <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3>Responsibility:&nbsp;Repair, maintain and test motor vehicle and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical components.Duties:•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and check parts.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Repair and replace worn and defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, and refer to service manuals as needed.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Reassemble engines and parts after repair.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Test and adjust mechanical parts after repair for proper performance.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls as needed <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>Qualifications:•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)&nbsp;Experience:•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;At least three years of relevant experience.
